How We Do It
We start with 100% Black Angus beef – hand-picked and trimmed. The best roasts can create the best Italian beef. We use a proprietary family spice mix, 45 years in the making. We’ve tweaked this mix to get the right proportions of Italian and other imported spices.
Then the Black Angus beef is slow-cooked to perfection – just how Freddy likes it. The au jus is fresh with no preservatives. We thinly slice the beef to order to create the best Italian beef sandwich in Chicago. We can add roasted peppers or hot giardiniera to finish it off. Perfection!
