Absolutely fresh and delicious sandwiches. I work in the city, but live in the suburbs, and just learned of this place. Can’t wait to try more stuff and take some home to the wife and son. Really great food paired with an awesome owner. “All I wanna do is go the distance” through every sandwich on the menu. Can’t go wrong here. Rosie’s isn’t a contender for best sandwich. What a phenomenal place. First, the food is on point. Italian beef is the best I had on the north side and the Couch sandwich is insane. Desserts are the perfect touch. Great atmosphere, chairs to hang both inside and out. The daily specials are honestly pretty sweet. Tons of excuses to come back on a regular. Also, glad they are taking card now. I have never had a Rosie’s sandwich. So why write a testimonial? Because I see these gorgeous sandwiches from my old hometown of Chicago… and can taste their deliciousness even from here in New York. And I can tell you that I go to my local sandwich places here with a Rosie’s menu printed out and try to have the guys recreate the food. And they just cannot do it!

This is the best deli sandwich I’ve had in a long long time. Generous amount of meat, the best bang for your buck no doubt in Logan. Extremely friendly staff greeted me like family the moment I walked in. We need more “Mom and Pop” places like this! Will be back again! – Andrew K.

Really loved the eggplant parm from Rosie’s. Perfectly fried eggplant in a delicious marinara sauce in a soft roll. I am a snob when it comes to my eggplant parm. And this one hit the spot! And I absolutely love that Rosie’s was one of the first Sicilian bakeries in Chicago to do muffuletta sandwiches like they do in the old country, and which New Orleans became famous for. They know what they are doing, and they are doing it right across the board. A real hidden gem in Logan Square. – Heaven M.

This place is AMAZING! Freddy delivered food to us in about 30 minutes to save my starving staff during a long day…the food was top-notch, the ordering process was simplistic, and the food was delicious – from the specialized chips from Michigan, to the delicious perfectly cut sandwiches all topped off with Spumoni ice cream!!!! The sandwiches are much more than generous. Because I don’t eat meat I always get the veggie sub. You get a HUGE SANDWICH, and it’s a custom, carefully handcrafted piece of real food wrapped in a paper that will barely contain its spillover as you eat it (some of them are a little messy to eat in a medieval-food-orgyish kind of way).

I Was in the area , and i randomly found this place thru google maps.
I decided to Order the muffuletta sandwich , and i initially thought they accidentally gave me a double order
yup i was wrong ,that sandwich is that huge . The Owner Freddy said id probably finish it in one sitting because of how good it is . I had my doubts till it was gone haha . Good sandwich man , ill be back for sure – Bear Grillz
GO TO ROSIES SIDEKICK! The food was fresh, packed with flavor, and made with high-quality ingredients. The Italian Deluxe, Muffuletta, chicken parmesan, Flying Saucer, and pistachio cannoli were all outstanding. Freddie and his staff were super welcoming and made the experience even better. The menu is quite large for a sandwich shop, they even had about 5 different soups available at lunch. Customer service is where this local gem really shines. The entire staff goes out of their way to get you everything exactly the way you want it. It’s apparent that they understand what customer service means. Although the layout of the seating and shop location is unconventional, the vibe is right and everything is hitting on all cylinders. If you haven’t been to Rosie’s Sidekick, you’re missing out! It’s a small shop with big flavors and sandwiches. Another review said the meat was skimpy – no way! Sandwiches are big and delicious. You HAVE to try the Muffuletta, Italian beef and Meatball sandwiches. Beef and meatballs are homemade – SO good. The Italian is great too! Yum!
Vegetarian options: There are a few vegetarian options – Veggie sandwich, pizza bread (you pick your toppings), eggplant parm and soup. It’s not vegetarian, but they have an Italian tuna sub too if you’re just trying to avoid meat. – Pam A.

A good Italian sandwich is a thing of beauty. The Italian Deluxe sandwich at Rosie’s Sidekick was exceptional! The sandwich was outstanding and the manager, Frank, was super friendly and makes you feel right at home.

I happened to be delivering an order to this corporate building and as I walked in the entrance the smell of this sandwich shop stopped me in my tracks it was so good! I had to try it. I got The Sicilian and my expectations were blown away. I had no idea what Muffuletta was, the cashier was nothing but helpful and kind to answer any questions I had. This place is way better than any sandwich place near or far (definitely better than Potbelly or Subway). Must try the cannolis 🔥10/10 will recommend to every person I know!Andrew G.
Got the Sicilian muffaletto and it was phenomenal. The place is hidden away in an office building but definitely worth going to find it. The manager was really friendly and helped me with good recommendations. Will def go again
